Niccolò Hilgendorf is a composer based in Los Angeles specializing in music for film, TV, and trailers. His work has earned him credits alongside Academy Award-winning director James Ivory and actor/director Peter Coyote, among others.

Recent projects include Hole In The Mountain, a documentary about the battle to protect California’s public lands from an open-pit mine, by Oscar-qualifying filmmaker Chris Kam. In 2025, his music has appeared in promos and TV spots for Friends, Super Bowl LIX, NFL Turning Point, Good Morning America, and more.

His music is featured in the catalogs of Extreme Music, VideoHelper, Phantom Power, and Black Sheep Music, with placements across major cable networks and streaming: ABC, NBC, CBS, Fox Sports, TBS, ESPN+.

He has a Master of Music in Scoring for Film, TV and Video Games from Berklee College of Music and currently works for Hans Zimmer’s Emmy-award-winning composer collective Bleeding Fingers Music as assistant composer to Hendric Buenck.
